On the inside of the shirt? Or on the outside? What color are the stains? I'm not sure I've experienced what you're talking about, esp on dark shirts.

I just wash them in the washing machine and wash as usual. My bf gets them all the time. Deodorant just washes out with some soap & water.
Sometimes when I put on a black shirt and I accidentally get deod on it, I just wet a towel and wipe it off.

You may want to try and soak it. Try OxiClean or BIZ. I use BIZ! Try using some type of SHOUT.

white residue on the inside in the armpits, but you can see it through the shirt to the outside too. he uses gel deoderant, so i'm not sure why it turns into white residue on the shirt. i wash them inside out, and scrub with detergent, but it doesn't do anything to get it out. I've also soaked it in normal detergent and in white vinegar to neutralize it. but nada. i'm gonna check on the side of the "simple green" bottle to see if it will work on fabric.. if not, i gotta go find something at the store. probably splurge on a thing of oxyclean or something. thx

There is a product out now that is Yellow Out! It is meant for the yellow stains underneath the arms!

Have you tried peroxide and shout? I don't know if it would work!
