Any one got suggestions on the best place to buy ink? DH just had to go and get some for the printer and it's crazy! I have an HP printer. Has anyone tried Staples brand? Does it work as good? How about other online stores or regular store to buy it?

Yes, Walgreens will refill black ink for $10 and color for $15! They don't do Epson or Canon, but they do HP!

Walgreen's is my vote, too. Other office supply stores also have refill services. It's much more affordable than buying new cartridges, name brand or store brand. We tried the do-it-yourself refill kits, too, but they were such a pain and a mess. We have two HP printers, and the Walgreen's refills work just fine for us, and they usually do it while-you-wait.

I also use Walgreens to get refills. Otherwise, the best place to buy new is Sam's Club.

For refilling my black ink I just do that myself and have not had any problems.
For the color ink I buy new, I did get it refilled at Walgreens and I don't know what happened but the color was funny when it printed out and it didn't last that long. Otherwise Walgreens is good for refills.

here im my small hick-town of ND we do not have a Walgreens, our only choices are Walmart, Kmart, Radio Shack or our local business supply place. I also have an HP printer and the last time I needed ink I ordered from concordsupplies.com, the price was resonable and we have not had a problem with using compatibles.

I was told my the IT guy at work that using the refills can shorten the life of your printer jets though.

I have a laser printer and I tend to buy the store brand if there is one and have not been disappointed.

We have a store here in town that does all b&w for $10 and color for $15 so that's what I get. I haven't had any problems with it...

I've refilled both black & color at Walgreens. Black, never had any problems with, will do it again. Color, both times the color was off, my mom had the same problem, won't do it again.
