I don't subscribe, but the main article shows a photo gallery with captions of several on the list. It has the top ranking name brands for front-loading and top loading detergents. What I like is that it also named the price per load in those comparisons. Just scroll down to the pictures--there are 14 of them! I saw my favorite!

Thanks for posting this! I use Arm and Hammer and I really like it. It was on the list but in powder form (I use the liquid). I'll buy it in the box next time.

I use Purex because it's about half the price of Tide. I may have to try that Walmart brand they suggest.

FYI - WalMart's Great Value Dishwashing Detergent also scored very well w/Consumer Reports. I use it when I happen to be at a WalMart and find it works just as well as Cascade.
