Is there a vinegar smell when you add it to your laundry? I currently use baking soda or borax instead of bleach but I've never tried vinegar.

As far as you mean leaving the smell on your clothing, no I've been using vinegar in my cleaners, laundry detergent & my dishes. Once vinegar dries the smell diminshes...as far as laundry once it's rinsed the smell is gone.

I hope that helps.

I add vinegar to every load and I've never had a residual smell. It helps rinse out the excess laundry detergent, so it makes the clothes softer. It's especially nice when I hang them out on the line.
