After reading these, I figured I'd better check into mine. We've only been here two years so I'm not really used to the oil plan yet. They show up and fill it when they decide we should be low. Our payments last winter were about $500 three times during the winter and 300 in the fall. The rate was capped at 2.80. Now I'm at 4.89 and the 12 month cap is 5.30. She told me to keep checking back this month because I'm not due for a delivery until the end of the month. We are definately going to need to use our fireplace more.

We have moved to space heaters .
we have gas heat, and keep it at 60,so pipes dont freeze.The we plant three
"plug in" radiators throughout the house, and although I dont have specific numbers, this has saved alot of money.
The plug in radiator was only like 48.00 I believe..
