Tip ~ If you, your DH/SO or kids have stinky shoes just stuff them with newspaper and let them sit overnight and by the next morning the paper absorbs the odors.

I always stuck stinky shoes in the freezer overnight when my son was little ... maybe combining both would be even MORE effective?

lol..i always bagged 'em first

the bacteria that cause odor can't live in freezing conditions is why it works,, so i was told,, just know that it did... they stunk again in a day or two and back they'd go ..

i put cornstarch or sprinkle baking soda in them then add the newspaper.

Wow, you definitely learn something every day! I never had heard of placing shoes in the freezer. I am just imagining someone coming over and there' s my husband's shoes in the freezer....opening the door and asking them if they'd like to stay for dinner....we're having shoe soup! haha! oKay, that was pretty lame I guess. In a goofy mood!
