I got a lot of baby powder and baby shampoo when we had our baby showers, so I decided to find some other uses for the stuff. If you know any others, please let us know!

Baby Powder:
Sprinkle between your sheets to absorb perspiration- this will be great during the summer months
Clean sand off wet skin
Untangle necklaces
Give your dog a dry shampoo: Rub some powder into fur, wait a few minutes, then brush off

Baby Shampoo:
Use as dog/cat shampoo
Wash your sweaters with it
Use it to clean your hairbrushes/combs/makeup brushes

I have sprinkled baby powder on pads to help with absorbing and odor.

Put some baby powder in your laundry room. If you have a grease spot on a shirt - especially a silk or rayon shirt - just lay the shirt down, sprinkle baby powder on the greasy spot, and let the powder absorb the grease. Saves me a lot of washing or dry cleaning on DH's silk shirts.

Mix equal parts of baby shampoo and water for eye makeup remover. I re-use the bottle from the Clinique eye makeup remover.

baby Shampoo is great for making homemmade baby wipes. Which can be used for all ages! (including MOM)
Mix about 1 tsp baby shampoo with about 2 c water. Pour over separated, folded paper towels. Store in ziploc type bag or old wipe container

If you go swimming much, throw the baby powder into the beach/pool bag. It's perfect for completely removing sand and drying off your feet before putting your shoes back on!

Sprinkle baby powder on your feet before and after working out at the gym. It will absorb moisture and help to prevent athlete's foot.

If I am out of the carpet powder (the kind you vacuum up) sometimes I will use baby powder instead. I just use a little less than I would if I was using the regular carpet powder.
