dishes used in microwaves?

I always use glass, but the kids will forget sometimes and reheat right in the plastic dishes! :eek

The worst stain maker is tomato products!

What do you use to get the stains off?

I've always heard set them in the sun to 'bleach'... havent ever bothered

HOWEVER, in order to PREVENT them,,, I learned to spray cooking spray in the dish before you put tomato based products into them!! Hope that helps in the future at least

I saw someone say they used a vinegar/baking soda combo in a pastey form and then scrubbed it with a cloth but I'm not sure if it actually works. That pastey combo does work to get stains out of the carpet though!

I just don't worry. I have 2 tupperware dishes that are stained, so if I'm going to put something that stains in a dish I use those ones. That leaves the rest looking pretty, and means I don't have to worry.

Now if I had kids reheating stuff and choosing dishes themselves that wouldn't work so much. lol
