Do you seal your driveway every year? Are you suppose to? If you do, how do you save money on this project?

We don't have an asphalt driveway anymore, but when we did...we would seal probably every 2 years. I don't know what the 'rule of thumb' is for it...it probably depends a lot on your climate. Sometimes Dh would do it himself (fill the cracks, make minor repairs and do the sealcoating) and sometimes we'd hire a company to do it. I honestly can't remember how much it was, either way.
