Yay!! Thank you!! I was beginning to feel like a weirdo for not regularly washing the cars

Our local car wash has a $5.00 wash special once a week, so I go there once a month or so. I always vaccuum at home and do the inside at home. So honestly, $5 a month is worth it for the amount of water and the mess I'd make by doing it at home!

Thanks for the reminder, I should wash mine today. I wash it unless it is too cold.

I take it to the car wash after snows.

I always clean the inside myself.

When our cars are washed, I or the kids are the ones who wash them.

Don't feel bad about this. Last year the drought caused municipalities here to ban unnecessary watering, including washing cars (with exceptions made for the commercial car wash businesses). Our vehicles went without a wash for quite some time.

I take mine to the car wash. Only because we don't have an outside spigot (sp?) so there is nothing for us to hook the hose up to.

I wish we did though. I used to love getting up on a Saturday morning & washing my car... it was very relaxing to me.

I have to say that I'm pretty surprised that on a website called "mommysavers", so many people use the carwash...my dh washes the cars, and the kids usually help. Heck, it's good exercise! We control the amount of water we use to conserve as much as we can..I think of it as a fun bonding time. I guess I'm pretty frugal....

We take it to carwash - but off late life has been so busy it's nearly 3 months since we took it for a wash. Maybe later today.

We've tried washing our cars at home, but our well water leaves such a nasty film on it, I've given in to pay the $6 for the car wash. Back when I still lived at my parents and had city water, I washed my car all the time.

I very rarely remember to wash my car. I think the last time I did was in the middle of May. When I do, I just run to the car wash. I can get it pretty darn clean for $2, I think that is more than reasonable. Plus it is soo much easier to do it there than to try and do it at home.
