we hand wash and make it a family affair so the kids get to join in on the action

I don't have an outside spiget so I can't wash at home. I have to go to a car wash, but I don't wash very often since it is soo expensive.

We do it at home- only occasionally

We seem to do the same as a lot of people here. We wash the cars ourselves during the Summer and Spring. Fall and Winter we go to the car wash, but pay for the cheapest wash....just to get the salt off.

But always clean inside ourselves year round. We spend a lot of time in the car and keep a basket in the back seat with wet wipes, a little basket trash, etc to help with keeping things neat.

DH always washes the cars, but not that often.

I pay my teenager to hand wash it. I give him the same amount I would spend in car wash. He is learning that $ only comes with work, and I get a clean car.
