I've noticed alot more people washing cars theirselves and shorter lines at the car wash......what do you do???

We have a system here.......dh washes and waxes.....he does a pro job on the outside and I am extremely good on the inside,and luckily we both enjoy it

I didn't vote because we do both. Spring, Summer and Fall we wash them ourselves and in the Winter we use the car wash to get the salt and sand off.
We always clean the insides ourselves no matter the time of year.

When I do wash it, I do it LOL. Back before DH, when I didn't feel like changing the oil myself, I'd go to the quick lube place and they would give the thing for a free wash. Went, and the stupid thing scratched the heck out of the side. Never again. Not too big of a deal, since I'd scratched it myself, but I'd rather do the damage, not someone else!

I might do it today since the CaCl truck sprayed the road today, so there is hope that the dust won't be too bad for a little while...

I am very picky about my car and I wash mine every single week, sometimes twice if it really needs it.

We have 3 classic cars that we also hand wash but normally only when we have car shows as the paint on them is very delicate.

Dh takes my car to be washed every week...he's REALLY picky about where he goes though, I'm actually not sure of all the criteria. LOL Sometimes he washes and waxes it at home, probably 4 times a year.

We take it to get it washed when it needs a good wash (maybe once a month sometimes more). We also get it detailed once a year usually after the winter snow.

You don't have an option for neither!!

I rarely wash my car (once every one or two years?), but when I do I go to the car wash.
