[quote=ladulce;712123]No. I pay someone. We have a homeless man that does it for $10 and lunch. I would feed him lunch anyway (and have many times)....[/QU

Awesome! What a great opportunity to help someone!

We have landscaper that mows & weed wacks for us and also does our snowplowing, he mulches the beds in the spring, cuts a new edge on the beds etc Obviously if it were a financial burden, it would be one of the first things to go but it's not and it's nice for Dh to not have to worry about it. He's only home on the weekends, so we want to maximize his time with us and not the yard.

We mow our yard where we live now, but when we move we're going to have a lawn service do it. DH works full time and goes to school so it's hard for him to get it done. Plus where we live now the landlord supplies the mower. We don't have one and don't want to put out a bunch of money for one right now. I'm looking forward to having one less thing to worry about. It's worth that small amount of money for peace of mind that it's done.

yes, either dh or I will do it. I actually like mowing the lawn and doing other types of yardwork. I'd rather do that than push a vaccum around.

DH mows our lawn. We just got an electric from a friend, so no more gas mower!!! It's much faster with the electric too.

I used to mow our lawn when I was in my teens/early 20's and living at home. I stopped doing it since I'm allergic to grass and always am miserable after mowing.

I am the same way. It's a great work out and, I know this will sound wierd, but it's nice to have that time to myself while the kids are playing outside! (even with the roar of the lawn mower!!)

Yesterday, I edged and used the "whipper snipper" for the first time ever. I did hack up a few areas, but still....I did it!
