No - not car stuff like that. He's a car fan, but we will not do that sort of work ourselves. It's not easy to dispose of the used oil around here and, after all my years working at GM customer assistance, I learned that if you cannot prove the car was maintained (receipts for oil changes), if you have a problem with the car later on, you will not receive any assistance from the manufacturer if you have a problem after the warranty is out. If you go to the dealer for minor maintenance issues, they will stand by you if you need post-warranty work.
