i buy the walmart great value with lotion(they are exactly like puffs) or i buy the aldis clarrisa brand with lotion(these are also just like puffs).

also try a janitorial supply store a relative that does daycare gets premium tp and tissues there by the case for a lot cheaper.

I buy regular Kleenex or Puffs for everyday use, whichever is cheaper. I also keep a couple of boxes of Puffs with lotion for winter when my kids allergies are bad or they get colds.

Charmin (or another expensive TP) is cheaper and softer on the nose than a lot of tissues. One square is the perfect size for a little one's nose. I would also reccommend cutting tissues in half because so much of what you throw away never touches any snot.

I do use a burpcloth on my daughter, or a handkerchief if we go out, but I wouldn't do that on an older child, or one that wasn't my own.

We just use toilet paper too. And for our kids we usually just use diaper wipes. TP or facial tissue just can't scrub off dried snot like a diaper wipe can. But when they get older, I will do tissue and then just cut them in half.

We also use toilet paper. Charmin is our tp of choice but whatever you get is almost always cheaper than tissues.
We do get puffs with lotion when someone has a cold but they are stricktly for the people who are sick... otherwise my kids end up with raw noses.

We buy Kleenex Viva kitchen towels and use the same as tissues as well. They are really soft like cloth, but also strong. They do not have a papery feel at all. Try just one roll and you will like it.

I switched to hankercheifs years ago for "green" reasons. I keep one box of nice tissues in our guest bedroom for visitors.

We use Scotties tissues (the big box). It's 2/$3 at Market Basket. I always buy 5 boxes and use $1 coupon that is always floating around. I couldn't imagine using a wipe on my kids face (too cold and wet), but I guess nothing ever dried up on their face before. I actually think our toilet paper would cost more, but I never calculated it out, it's not worth it. The Scotties work well, I usually donate a couple boxes to the teachers every winter.
