It does seem like a miracle especially this close to Christmas. I read in another article that there was another child in the hospital at the same time that had just been diagnosed with cancer. They were doing some follow up to start chemo and the scans showed up clear.

Whether it was an angel or not is really irrelevant. There was something, some kind of miracle that caused the child to get better. People can believe what they choose.
