People who call 911 for reasons like this are obviously disturbed. Clearly this lady just wants someone to talk to. It would be nice if they could have a volunteer as someone who could listen to these issues, you know a shoulder to cry on like a retired grandma. The calls might be non-emergency, but could potentially be dangerous. The grandma could put the 911 dispatcher on the line if the situation escalates, like the person is threatening to harm themselves. I've been around enough people with mental health issues to know that if they feel they are in a crisis, it is a 911 emergency.
