This is just sick. What is really sad is that this is quite common in India and some of the surrounding countries. It is not uncommon for families to sell their daughter's to "employment agencies" that get the girls jobs cleaning houses (selling their bodies).

That is terrible. I hope they find her alive. I bet the father regrets letting her go live with her mother:

Shaniya's father, Bradley Lockhart, told The Associated Press he raised his daughter for several years but last month decided to let her stay with her mother. He said Davis struggled financially over the years, but she recently obtained a job and her own place, so Lockhart decided to give her a chance to raise their daughter.

This is so sad, I am afraid to look at the news more and more

The mother should have her uterus ripped out with a crowbar.

The police received a tip about where they could find her. They looked all day yesterday but could not find her.

This story just makes me sick. What kind of monster this "mother" must be to put your own child through this.

From the article: According to arrest documents cited by the newspaper, Davis "knowingly provide(d) Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude" and she "permit(ted) an act of prostitution."

This makes me so sick! Why can women like this have children but the women who will provide a safe, loving home not have children!!
