It is statements like these that just tick me off! 24 hours after checking into a rehab, a real one, usually you don't hear people say they're "happy" to be there. I work with recovering addicts, real ones, not just celebrities that have been living life too hard and need some time off and check into an extended day spa for a couple of weeks. Overcoming addiction, any addiction, is hard work that completely dismantles a person and takes time. It isn't something that you can just do in a couple weeks time and say things are all better and these young socialites completely mislead the general public and take credit from those that have overcome, or at least, are attempting to overcome their problems. It's not rehab that these women are doing, it's called a vacation! I'm sure these famous lives are stressful but you know what, everyday life is stressful! Figuring out how to put food on the table for your family and paying for your house payment month after month when you just were laid off from your job, that is pretty stressful as well! At least Keith Urban took a real amount of time to work on his issues, whatever they were -- of course the press attempted to ripped him and his new wife's marriage apart in the process.

Just my vent for the day!

Of course Lindsey's publicist is going to put a positive spin on it and say she's having a blast. I'd be surprised if we saw an honest headline saying that she was having a rotten time.

I'm just sick of Lindsey Lohan and her nonsense. In fact, I'm sick and tired of many of the young Hollywood stars. All they do is get paid outrageous amounts of money to do a job that doesn't require all that much work or skill, party, and go to rehab. The majority of them are worthless and couldn't hack a real job if their lives depended on it.

I hope she gets her act toghether this timeray:

I just feel so sorry (well...and at the same time disgusted) over all these girls who have ruined their lives. I remember her being so cute in the Parent Trap, and here just a few yrs later she's on her second trip to rehab and out of control. How she gets her life back on track. What a waste...

Unfortunately with a mom like hers, I doubt that's going to happen. Several years ago when LL was 17 and shacking up in hotels with Fez from That 70s Show her mom went on record as saying that it was perfectly normal, that girls that age were going to party and it was ok. I've also heard numerous stories about how her mom is the human cash register -- as long as her daughter is bringing in the $$$, she is OK with everything she does. With guidance like that, I almost feel sorry for LL. Almost.

Well, isn't her mom the ex-Rockette? So she's been in that showbiz lifestyle for years and has Lindsay live the dreams with the money for partying that she never had. That woman is a waste, herself. And then the dad? Is he out of jail/rehab yet himself?

It's still no excuse - Lindsay is an adult and can turn her own life around but chooses not to.

And I just heard on the radio yesterday that her big 21st birthday bash at some nightclub in Vegas is still "on" for early July. Sounds like a good move for someone recovering from addiction!
