It is sad and shocking that the number one cause of death in pregnant women in North America is murder. Who would have ever thought so? Another sad story. I'm really starting to wish I didn't have a television (or any other way of getting news). I just want to live in a little bubble. Anybody want to join me?

I will gladly join you in your bubble. Since becoming pregnant I am so much more sensitive to and emotional about events on the news. So when one comes up concerning pregnant women and or children, its about all I can do to handle it.

It seems like there is always some horrible news story and I know that a lot of that is media coverage and violence is what sells but even the statistics are scary if you take the time to really research them. It makes me glad that I live in a rural area where these instances are more rare.
