I am not sure what to think. I am not sure if that is encouraging for the mother, but it sure is for the baby, if this is indeed her.

"The baby was dressed in a sleeper. The wicker basket contained a blanket and a bottle of formula, but there was no note, he said."
Quoted from Baby found near where woman disappeared - Yahoo! News

To me, this is someone who intended for this baby to be found and was concerned for it's well being. How many people dress the baby, give her a blanket and a bottle of formula for whom ever finds her? It's hard not to think she is Baby Chloe, but perhaps this was someone who knew they couldn't do it and took the baby some where else.... it's hard to say. To me however, the bottle, sleeper and blanket says they had a little compassion for her tiny life. At least she is in good hands now.

No matter who the baby turns out to be at least it is now a safe baby! Hearing all of the other stuff that was in the article about the father (cop) it doesn't make him look too good!

I hope this is the baby but it worries me about what has happened to the mother. This whole thing is just very very sad.

I'm happy that the baby is in safe hands, but I'm concerned as to the situation with Jessie Davis still. If it is baby Chloe, then she is obviously dead. If it isn't baby Chloe, then they still have nothing (it seems) that will lead them to her or her unborn baby. So sad.

Unfortunately, I don't think this baby is related to the missing mother case.

I am sorry but this sounds like a teenage girl this woman may have worked with and not the baby of this missing woman. I wish it was her baby because then some good could come from this but it doesnt look so good, and that poor little boy and what he may have seen.

After reading this statement this morning, I have to agree...

"My wife has been a school nurse and has dealt with young females in a confidential manner over a number of years," Don Redman said. Sue Redman also was a board member at a local free clinic.
