Honestly, i am new here, and I don't know anyone's background or whatnot...but here goes. I don't see how Rosie matters what so ever in this matter. I don't necessarily enjoy her, but feel that she loves her children and does NOT, and i repeat NOT, use them to further her career. In fact, her career is just sitting around enjoying them right now. But since we are on it now, she buys her kids pretty much what they want...I dont see how it's offensive or anything else that they want an army soldier costume. In fact, I would have assumed the other way around, that she bought it to show her support for the troops, which she does in fact, support. She does not, however, support this war or the administration that put us here. I see that as a viable opinion. She just wants our kids home, what's wrong with that. I don't know what else to say really, I just wish people would give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes. She loves her kids, but has strong opinion about this war....who doesnt?

I can't stand Ann Coulter for many of the reasons another poster stated. She is a closed minded person who can't speak to anybody in a Christian manner, but yet claims to be.

However, as countrymouse noted, to think this was not politically crafted, even if it was warranted, is a bit naive. I am not saying Elizabeth Edwards should NOT have said it, but the fact that they are able to get money from the publicity (and Edwards needs the publicity and the money with Obama and Hillary taking a lot of the spotlight and, thus, the available funding sources) is pretty obvious. This goes on the other side, too. It is just the way politics work.
