I just looked up Fragile X Syndrome. The physical characteristics listed don't mention anything about short stature or dwarfism. I know people with Downs Syndrome are often short, but it didn't list it with Fragile X Syndrome. Not sure why (or if) growth hormone would be injected into the child?

ATLANTA - Investigators are looking into who altered pro wrestler Chris Benoit's Wikipedia entry to mention his wife's death hours before authorities discovered the bodies of the couple and their 7-year-old son.

Benoit's Wikipedia entry was altered early Monday to say that the wrestler had missed a match two days earlier because of his wife's death.
A Wikipedia official, Cary Bass, said Thursday that the entry was made by someone using an Internet protocol address registered in Stamford, Conn., where World Wrestling Entertainment is based.

An IP address, a unique series of numbers carried by every machine connected to the Internet, does not necessarily have to be broadcast from where it is registered. The bodies were found in Benoit's home in suburban Atlanta, and it's not known where the posting was sent from, Bass said.

This is from the Fragile X organization:

Fragile X is a family of genetic conditions, which can impact individuals and families in various ways. These genetic conditions are related in that they are all caused by gene changes in the same gene, called the FMR1 gene.

Fragile X includes:

fragile X syndrome (FXS), the most common cause of inherited mental impairment. This impairment can range from learning disabilities to more severe cognitive or intellectual disabilities. (Sometimes referred to as mental retardation.) FXS is the most common known cause of autism or "autistic-like" behaviors. Symptoms also can include characteristic physical and behavioral features and delays in speech and language development.

My best friend's son has this, they did not know anyone in the family was a carrier, and he was diagnosed sometime just after his first b-day.

I don't think the son was getting the steroids, it was Benoit that was using them.

They just released here (45 mins from Fayetteville) supposedly that they are now investigating it to have been a possible set up, and are now looking for other "persons of interest."

Something about text messages sent to people he worked with, and a missing piece to the weight machine that would HAVE had to be used to accomplish how he was hanged, but it's missing.

It would so weird to find out that he DIDNT do it... I have no idea what to think about this one at all....................

ETA: I can't find anything on the news here, so I don't know if it's true. Just waiting to see.

This just seems to get sadder and sadder... he was struggling but in a sport where men are supposed to be violent and angry (or so it seems) no one saw red flags...
