Splitting hairs, maybe. "Having sex" seems to imply two people giving consent.

I just don't think I could have dealt with that appropriately if that were my kid. I don't understand why anyone would want to hurt a kid. What chromosome gets messed up so that you find kids attractive like that?

I don't know about him. His story doesn't add up. It doesn't seem to me that he did it. Just because he said he drugged her but yet nothing was found in her system. And, he "said" he raped her, but what I heard was that there was only foreign dna found near her. His ex is also saying they never lived in Boulder & that he was with her Christmas Eve that year. Along with he says he picked her up from school or something strange like that. He's sick though that's for sure. On the news last night they were talking about how he studied the case & how he's in the process of writing a book. They mentioned that he's so into his book that he actually thinks he's in the whole ordeal. Very weird.

For the family's sake, I'm glad he was caught if he did it. But it's also opening old wounds for them if he didn't & is making this all up.

i was wondering why he was detained in thailand in the first place? maybe he did something horrible and was going to killed. maybe he's just using this as an excuse to come back to the states and live? i have on idea. but i do feel so sorry for the dad on jonbenet.

From what I have heard the things he is supposed to have said didn't actually happen. There is a Thai police officer who was the original source for those stories who was not in on the interrogation and he apparently made some things up. I find it hard to believe there would be an arrest and extradition on what has been made public. There would be a HUGE public backlash for tax dollars spent that way.

All of the press speculation is making me sick. This is really no different than when they jumped on the parents as suspects.

This is what I have come to understand from various interviews:

He (Karr) was e-mailing a writer/attorney or soemthing talking about the JonBenet case.

From there I believe Karr may have mentioned something that wasn't leaked to the press! This may be a stun gun or tazzer sp*

Karr's ex wife and other members of his family have said that he (Karr) was no where near Boulder around Christmas of that year.

He *Karr is writing a book and some are thinking that this may be a good way to get people intersted in the book and so on!

He has had two DNA tests now! One in Thailand and then one when he got off the plane in the U.S.


Someone in the U.S. should know by now if the dna matches, and I would love to know if it does or not. I want to believe that he did this and I will once someone comes out and says that the dna matches!

I still have some worries that he didn't do it and he is just doing this for publicity! There are just somethings that don't add up.

Like the suitcase underneath the window that the intruder came in, how the intruder went up to the second floor and then carried her body down stains going down a sprail staircase!

I just don't get it! Is it just me???

It isn't just you. None of this adds up, nor am I any more convinced today that mommy and daddy are innocent than I was 10 years ago.

The fact of the matter is, Boulder PD wants to close this case, and the family wants to be vindicated. Only time will tell, but it is IMO that this isn't their killer.
