We respect & understand where you're coming from. No worries, but know that we are ready to help if you decide you want or need it. We will all continue to think about you & pray. If you're printing things out to take to the hospital with you, here's another thread I started Thursday to make members that don't frequent the news forum aware so we could strengthen our prayers. Thought you'd like to see that too.

I know some of you don't read the news forum, but me&my2girls could use our prayers

Sending thoughts & prayers & strength.

I think printing off our messages is a great idea. On the fund idea...I'm hoping they won't need ANY of their personal funds to cover these costs. I hope the hospitals and others will wait for the state to pay these bills, along with insurance (does insurance go after the state for recovery?). In no way should they be held personally liable for something that was caused by neglect. I truly hope they won't need a fund, except for perhaps day-to-day things.

I contacted our churches prayer ring and had your family added to the list. I am so very happy they were found alive and will pray for strength to get through the days ahead.

You could open a "post office box" for the cards to be sent to.......and then just post the address of that

Me&My2girls (not your real name)
P. O. Box ***
Any town, MN ***** (not your real town)

you would not need to give out any personal info, as far as the city goes...you could open one in a different city than the one that you live in........voila, no one knows who you are, who your family is, or any other personal info about your situation.

Then, by doing this, you could still get gifts and cards from those who feel the need to send something.

car payment

BIL's company started offering the option of "Aflac" in the beg. of the year- so he and his family should be taken care of as far as bills and things go. They are lucky that they started that! Aflac is great. DH and I have had it for 2 years now. As far as medical bills, the hospital was told not to bill any insurance company or my BIL's family at all. It's "HUSH, HUSH" at this point about who is taking all of the cost of medical bills for all of these injured people, we don't have a clue. All I know is that none of the victims will see a bill- thank the LORD for that! BIL is putting his house up for sale and getting out of the cities when they can. I am sure they will be living on disability for several months and they may be getting a cash sum for every month that they aren't able to work (once again from who knows where, all we know is that it is in the works) I am sure BIL, SIL won't beable to work for quite some time and they both will need a lot of physical therapy! Time for me to get to bed.
