Have you heard anything? The phone lines are terrible still so hopefully that is the problem.
What a horrible event. Hopefully they will continue to rescue people but I fear many, many people are in the water. There is only one friend of mine that uses that road to head home from work but she is on maternity leave.
35 splits into 35W and 35E around the Twin Cities and it was 35W that fell. People that were leaving Minneapolis would be those heading more north and generally live more on the west side of the cities. Obviously those headed into Minneapolis from that direction would also be affected.
