This breaks my heart. I've worked with FAS teenagers - kids that were born with their problems that should never have been and they're problems that never seem to get better and never go away. A kid we worked with for several years was FAS - adopted by a wonderful family that couldn't control him. He came to us and was pretty successful with my husband but as he got older even my husband couldn't handle him anymore. He's now an adult, selling drugs to make a living, and has fathered two children that I know of in the past year. I pray these children will turn out ok and are quickly placed in loving families.
