OHHHH how I miss the launches! I grew up in Sanford so we could see the launches clearly. Sometimes getting on the roof and kickin back. Every person in the neighborhood would come outside to watch. I especially love the night lifts.

I'm jealous! We came to Kennedy for a launch in 2002, and it got canceled because of bad weather in Houston! They said that was the first time that it had ever happened that the launch got canceled due to bad weather at mission control. We were bummed, but plan to try again sometime. My husband is fascinated with NASA (as are my kids and me). We've been to Huntsville several times and to Kennedy. My family visited Johnson when I was younger. It still amazes me that space flight is possible.

It is so neat to watch!!! We all run out into the street screaming like idiots because our family loves to watch the launches. The sonic booms when they come home is fun too, unless it is 4 in the morning!!
