Driving while talking and smoking with kids in the car- those are two habits that could soon change.

This may pass to other states, if not already.

We already have the one about driving with a cell phone in New York. I agree with it. I also agree with the other about smoking w/ kids in the car. Why should they be forced fed something that is so bad for them.

There will be many who will scream about this not being the governments place, but if people don't use common sense on their own, other people suffer so they have my thumbs up if they want to pass these things.

I'm for both of these laws. I hope they pass.

I talk on the phone while I drive frequently. I live in the middle of no where and driving is good free time to talk to people. I never dial while driving though.

I think not smoking with kids in the car is a great idea and should be common sense, but I think it will be really hard to enforce. What are they gonna do next, say you cannot smoke in your home with children present? (BTW I am NOT a smoker and I hate smoke!)
