The exact same thing happened at my college dorm when I was going to school -- several floors above me. It seems to be common - sad to say.

[quote=taylyn]I hate hearing things like this!!

I don't for one minute feel sorry for the moms -
I think it is Pure selfishness that they won't let ANYONE know about there pregnancy. And It has got to be the evilest of evils to kill your own baby. - I can't think of anything worse. Whether you are 15 or 35 - I just can't fathom it.

I think they know exactly what they could or should do too while they are pregnant.

I don't think its a Matter of them not knowing where to go for help either-
I think they don't want to deal with it and Hope it goes away

I too hate when people say....."oh poor girl, she didn't know what to do".

You may not know what to do....but you sure know what not to do. There is no excuse for killing your baby......I don't care how embarrased or afraid you are. To me it just shows this girl was selfish and didn't want her life disrupted. There are many young girls that have babies....their boyfriends leave them, their parents disowned them and they never kill or abandon their children. I feel no sympathy for this girl.....and I think she should be harshly punished.

I happen to be against abortion, but if someone is going to do something like this I ask why in the hell didn't she just have an abortion? I think that she should be severely punished. If you are mature enough to have sex, then you are mature enough to know that you have options once you get pregnant. And yes I do know what it's like to be that young and pregnant, I was 19 when I got pregnant with my dd.

I don't feel bad for her at all. Let the punishment fit the crime...hold HER head in a toilet and let her drown. Uggggh. What a piece of crap.

I don't feel one bit sorry for her--drown a baby in a toilet---horrible. Aren't there Safe Haven laws in most states. Take it to a church or a hospital, no questions asked. How many people out there have infertility problems and would love a baby she just murdered and threw in the trash.

Reading that article made me cry All I can say is shame on her. I really can't understand how anyone could hurt their own child.

Indeed, many states have Safe Haven laws now--including her state!
