I'm on the humane society's email list and I got this from them today. I thought it was sort of cool and decided to share it.

that was a nice slideshow.. some of the pics made me happy and some just made me terribly sad. Those horses with the fire in the background and thinking of people haven't to just 'set them free'

Thank God they were more prepared. Hurricane
Katrina was terrible, but it did teach us that we
must be prepared to take care of animals during
disasters. They suffer just like we do when these
things happen.
The pics are so sweet. The volunteers are amazing!!
