I bought "The Sneaky Chef" a couple of weeks ago and I skimmed Jessica Seinfeld's book a week later. They are strangely similar. . . Enough that I sort of believe the idea that some things might have been taken. Especially once I saw Seinfeld's publisher turned the first book (also published prior to Seinfeld's book) had turned it down TWICE. Sort of makes you go "hmmm".

Plus, does anybody really expect that Jessica Seinfeld has to do her own cooking? Just kidding . . . well sort of.

"The Sneaky Chef" is very good, by the way!

I totally think that she ripped off The Sneaky Chef. I don't think Jessica Seinfield would have the time to just sit around and think up vegetable purees. I would be suprised if their wasn't some sort of lawsuit!

Saying she is guilty of plagiarism is like saying every cook book that has a recipe for mashed potatoes or Banana bread is guilty as well.

But to have the EXACT same recipe for brownies? Even banana bread has variations! And both mix blueberries and spinach in the same amounts for a purple puree? It could be coincidence, but somehow, I don't think so.

I think there will be a lawsuit as well.
