If I get the opportunity I watch the AM news. When the kids are in quiet time, I watch FOX news or CNN. It's rare I see the night time news.

I always (or at least try to) have the news on either in the morning or at night. If I get to watch it is a different story! I did suggest to dh for a under the cabinet drop down tv so while I'm cooking dinner I can still see the news.

I don't watch local news...I can't stand the anchors, they all seem to be such idiots. I will watch cable news, but not with any regularity.

I seldom get to watch the news. I read the daily newspaper. When Daniel was a toddler, the news scared him because of all the murders and robberies. So, we got out of the habit of watching it. Plus, we've always had little ones around since. I sometimes steal a moment or two online or during the night after the kids have gone to bed. But, that's rare.

We almost always watch the evening news (usually Brian Williams) if we're home. We also watch the local news in the early evening or late night if we're home and not busy. But we're sort of news junkies.

I try to watch a little of our morning local news (for the weather forecast); but we always try to catch the evening news (NBC-Brian Williams, here too), and then our late local news before bed!

You need an "I don't" option. I stopped watching the news when I was pregnant. I found I couldn't stomach hearing about children being maimed or murdered. I still don't watch it. It's too depressing. I always need to hug my daughter or check on her after I change the channel.
