This is a true sicko. Killed a 20 day old baby. He admitted he shook her and put his finger in her - she had vaginal and anal tears. He also admitted he "threw her around by accident" the preceding week. How could the mother not know?

I can't read the article. Not because of some firewall or anything. I just cannot bring myself to read it after the info you already provided. It was enough, all by itself, to make me physically ill. Reading anymore would only make me more sick.

There is absolutely no sense in us supporting his disgusting @$$ in prison. That is the kind of person who should go before a firing squad in a public forum. I'm not exaggerating regarding my opinions either. I just think that he has no business getting 3 squares, cable, weight room, bed to sleep on, clothes on his back, and educating in our prisons. Kill him. That defenseless little baby had no protection from him and will never grow up to become a member of society. All because some scumbag had to torture and kill him at a mere 20 days old.

For people like this, the one and only answer is death penalty. There is absolutely no hope for these people....what a sick convuluted guy..and I am not saying that in support of him receiving psychological counselling either.

Ok, I read it and I'm blown away by the wife's comments:

Suzanna Pierce was asked if her husband was capable of doing anything like this. "I wouldn't think he would abuse her," Pierce told CBS 5 News."

Can't believe he has been accused of murder??? HUH??? HE KILLED YOUR BABY! THAT IS MURDER! Why, why would she even question the murder charge?? Yeah, I agree with Desertmom - let the prison population take care of this baby killer so we don't need to waste tax payer's money on this scum.

Unbelievable. DH and I had a discussion last night which actually brought him to tears and to the point of feeling nauseous. We were talking about a case in our area where a "transient" apparently from Arkansas, who was known to beg for food frequently at a busy intersection and was homeless. He roamed into a nearby neighborhood where there were a few kids out playing in a backyard, asked a 9 yo girl directions to the area he frequented (name of the road) , brought her by knifepoint to an abandoned shopping area (back parking lot) and was in the process of "having his way with her".
In the meantime, a mother of another child she was playing with saw the tail end of the abduction, ran to get the girls step-father, who chased them and found them right before the horrific crime was about to get worse. The step-dad "held him there until police got there". He had visual bruises and cuts on his face in court, so he got the crap beat out of him a bit.
Now, my point is, this guy goes and does this, but had previously been homeless, up tp NO GOOD, begging for whatever, but now gets to live on OUR DIME eating 3 meals a day, cable, bed, blankets, and whatever else these "prisoners" get for luxury items while locked up. WTH. So wrong in my opinion. DH was getting nauseous thinking about catching someone doing that to our girls, and that he would feel the need to protect his family and take matters into his own hands. Had he been the father in that situation, this man would not be given a free ride to the county "hotel", he'd be on his way out of his miserable existence.
Sorry, I'm a little fired up about this one. No right to get any counseling or anything of the sort when it comes to abusing of, God forbid, murdering children. End of story. JMHO and sorry so long

How could the mother not know? Easy, according to the article you posted. The baby was 20 days old - this could have easily been the first incident. She took a nap, woke up, and this is what she woke to. How could she know? The article doesn't indicate any signs of prior abuse. Of course she's shocked he did it. He's her husband! She loves him! He might have shown no indication that he had this in him before this point. If this is a first-time thing, he lost it because the baby was crying or whatever - the blame is on him 100%. If he's never abused her - the wife - and the baby had only been home a couple weeks - why would she think he would abuse her? There is not enough relationship history in this article to comment negatively on the mother.

I think that guys that abuse children should have to wear pink in prison. I can't believe a father could do that to his own baby!! I am just feel sick after reading what he did-

Calimari: Yes, there was actually prior abuse. The baby had older bruises. The man, as stated, admitted to throwing her around the previous week because she was crying.
