I friend of mine's neighbor just took in 2 foster babies. My friend was telling me the 2 month old baby girl has bruises all over her face and has 2 broken ribs healing. She is also 2 months old and the size of a small new born. This is so sad I don't understand how someone can hurt someone so innocent.

I do not understand it either. Especially when I look at my little baby boy who is still so small and completely trusting.

My friend told me today that all the Foster Mom got for the babies was 2 diaper bags with a few diapers, a few ratty outfits and some formula The state of course will provide her with the $$$ to get them some stuff in a few weeks but until then all she gets is some WIC benefits.

I went out to Goodwill and bought each of the girls 3 outfits and some PJs. I also made sure each of them has a dress for Easter. One dress was from Goodwill and the other my oldest DD wore one Easter. I also offered to pay for a cheapy photo session ($9.99 basic package at Olan Mills) so the babies will have some photos of when they were little. I still can't believe someone would hit a baby in the face and break it's tiny ribs

I don't get it either. I am glad that they baby's are safe now and that they won't remember this.

That was an amazingly thoughtful thing for you to do. What a great idea!

We just finished our foster parent training and I know it is going to be sooo hard. These kids have gone through hell. I agree that that was very thoughtful of you to help them out so much. What a saint!
