While I don't agree with their lifestyle in general, I also do not agree with the way this is being handled. I don't understand how a call from one girl can lead to over 400 children being taken from their homes. It is my understanding that that girl has not even been found and that they now think the call came from outside the compound. Allegations of abuse do need to be investigated, however, I don't believe separating children from their mothers is the right way to go about it unless it is obvious that the children in question or others in their household have suffered abuse.

I guess how I look at it is either the mothers are victims themselves or are part of the problem. The whole thing is a miserable mess and I do really feel bad for everyone involved. Except the lawyers and the old men that can't keep their paws off of little girls.
