From the different articles I read and heard on CNN...It was a secret room in the basement of an apartment type building they lived, with a 300kg door that could only be opened with an electronic keypad (behind a bookcase) and was completly soundproofed. Some thought went into this. Many are also sure there is no way he installed the door himself, and how did he build the elaborate set of rooms by himself?

The sad part (as if it weren't ALL horrible) if he is found guilty...he will only get 15 years...the maximum for rape in Austria. 9 years less than he held his daughter captive.
