Not much going on here, still talking about the clean up of the EF-4 tornado that ripped thru our town on June 11th. Other then that not much goes on unless school is in session (College town lol) but our town is Manhattan, KS an our local news is at TheMercury.com

What a cute idea!

Bonners Ferry Herald This paper is the main paper but they never update the website until about a week later. The main article is about the long time fire chief's death from cancer. Very sad.

Boundary County, Idaho And here is an online paper as well that I enjoy because 1. we're friends with the owner and 2. it updates more often. Top story there is about looking for volunteers needed for a 3 on 3 basketball event coming up.

Ours isn't online. But, this week's news was pretty depressing. It was all about a few people who got arrested on drugs charges and few more who were arrested for breaking into the local elementary school. This week's should be a lot better with the local 4th coverage - parade and other events.

Really not much going on here. Lots of crashes from the holiday weekend. And still trying to get federal aide for the victems of the PeachTree Apts fire.

We don't have a newspaper...but I've gathered a little from sitting on my front porch. The girl in the house to the North is still pregnant and is now nesting. The couple across the street from us got a new washer and dryer. A new family moved in down the street. The stop sign on the corner of my street seems to get run about 50% of the time.
If we ever get a newspaper, I'm applying to be the gossip columnist.

No kidding huh....
The lady next door to us has up and vanished, no one has seen or heard from her in weeks....yet, there's a POD outside her house. The couple across the street has an infant I knew nothing about until a couple months ago, because I never knew the woman was pregnant, because she LITERALLY never comes outside. Our stop sign gets run TOO, and far too often, people come around our curve blind and going way too fast.
I could go on and on.....I love your idea though, way too funny.

I'm not really sure if we have a link or not but today is sure to be a good news day.
In our little 3 stoplight town, the bank got robbed yesterday. I don't know who or why but it was quite exciting. Everyone has been talking about it.
