I was very skeptical of this vaccine when it first came out and this just confirms my thoughts. I still think it may get taken off the market in about ten years. I blew my dr's brains by refusing to get it when I was eligible and I will not allow my DD to get it when she is old enough for it.

I don't know. I would like to see more evidence. People like to blame everything on vaccines. A girl getting pancreatitis from a vaccine sounds totally unrelated. It is more likely that she ate something that upset her pancreas.

I declined the vaccine for my oldest DD who is now 17 and I will decline it for my 12 yr old DD also. Unfortunately I just don't trust the vaccine yet and have heard of side effects from several moms' whos DD have had the vaccine. I will wait and not let me DDs get the vaccine. I would rather be safe than sorry and just have them get PAPs on a yearly basis.
