I don't think the daughter has anything on the grandmother, I think the grandmother is just wanting so much to believe that her granddaughter is alive and that her daughter can help find her and can't believe that her own daughter could possibly be capable of what is being assumed.

There are so many red flags. I hope and pray the little girl is found unharmed and alive but it doesn't seem that that will happen.

Telling 911 the car smells like a dead body
then trying to sell the idea that you let a pizz box rot

sounds more like an attempt at cover up for dd,than dd having something on the Grandmother

This just isn't looking good.......and the picture of the little girl in the back seat w/her baseball cap on just rips my heart out!!! I've looked in my own back seat a few times and saw my own dd looking just like that.....

I hate when bad things happen to kids.....it's always BAD...but there's something Xtra frustrating about it when it's their own families........makes me wanna walk outside and just scream

I agree!

Somebody mention Susan Smith, and her drowning her little boys. Can you imanage how that oldest little boy felt. Knowing that his mother drove the car that you and your little brother was in off in the lake and wasn't helping ya'll get out. They even said that the little boys were touching or holding hands.

A parent is suppose to protect their kids. And for a parent to take their own kids life is just sick. And the courts should show no mercy for these people. Just like they didn't show any mercy for their kids.

I think people should go the same way their victims do....you drown your kids...you get tied in a car and drowned.......you stab someone 217 times...same for you etc.....if this were the case maybe people would think twice!!!

I just do not understand people As much as my kids anger me sometimes I still want to hug and love them so I just cannot understand how a MOTHER can hurt there own child you carry them for 9 months and go thru body changes to what hurt your child NOWAY!! it makes me love them more.
I feel for thesse kids who have to die and or live this way makes me soo sad.
(of course my hormones are not helping right now but still)

In a lot of cases, the kids get in the way of either their social life or they just don't want the bother of the kids. Like in the case of Susan Smith, her boyfriend just broke up with her because he wasn't ready to be a stepfather.

I can't understand why they just don't ask family members for help or explain the way they are feeling.

They know that chances are they are not going to get by with it. Usually when a spouse or child comes up missing, they always look at a family member first.

But what gets me is that when they get caught, they start hollering "mental illness". They probably were "mental" when they did it, after all how can you be sane and harm your or anyone else child, but they should just take their punishment and don't try to get out of it.

You mention how Susan Smith's boyfriend had just broken up with her. If you listen to these jailhouse tapes, all Casey wants is her boyfriend's phone number. It's really the only thing she is concerned about, not her sweet precious daughter but her boyfriend's phone number. Honey, that boyfriend is long gone!!!
