Even though some "expert" said it wasn't a sea turtle without it's shell, I'm going with a shell-less sea turtle.

Looks like a turtle but maybe it is the next step in evolving.

I'm just glad it washed up in Montauk and didn't come floating in my backyard! We live on the water like 70 miles from there!
