Oh NO!!!
- - I always get the double cheeseburger at McD's when we eat there! Only because it's CHEAP and GOOD! They may be raising the prices and the article says that there will major changes to the $1 menu next year! That's the only way we afford to eat out!

Pleh. One slice of cheese to cut corners. That's so sad. I'll just head around the corner for Taco Bell's 79 cent menu instead.

I've swapped Taco Bell for McDonald's already, for the rare occasions I eat out at a drive-thru fast food joint. Now that DH is on this new med and has been eating better, he gets so sick from grease-saturated foods (fried food, greasy pizza) so he won't be eating any place like this anymore anyway..

This really doesn't effect me since I don't eat there anyway..

My question is.. how can it be a double CHEESE burger when there isn't double cheese?? Personally, I used to get the double cheeseburger, because it was cheap, you were getting double and I like cheese. This does not sound appetizing at all.

I am not suprised! All food places are going to have to make changes or raise prices. Food prices have just gone up too much.

I hate McD's and never eat there, so any changes they make to their dollar menu won't effect my life at all.

Why don't they eliminate that extra patty on the double cheeseburger and just call it a cheeseburger? At least it would be a little healthier and people could save money.

I try not to eat fast food if possible. But it is sad that McDonald's won't be able to keep much of a dollar menu. At our McDonald's here they already raised the price of the double cheeseburgers to $1.50. So if they take the dollar menu off or raises the prices I won't be going there at all.
