I am glad you didn't post that windfall tax thing he wants to do re the oil companies. That is an easy if wrong-headed answer. Let's just pick a scapegoat for political gain.

What many hard-working Americans don't realize is how muchof our 401Ks, IRAs etc are in oil companies.

I heard about this on the radio on the way in to work today.

IN addition to that, the idea that taxing the oil companies (they already pay a huge tax on the profits they earn anyway) to help the "little guy" is ludicris. That extra tax they have to pay will be dumped into the price of gas and the price will go up!!!.
