Another post had me wondering who they were so I googled and found this YouTube video. Talk about making ones heart swell up with pride. I had tears in my eyes. God Bless the Patriot Guard Riders. YouTube - Patriot Guard Riders

Pretty darn cool aren't they

There was a military funeral a couple years ago that was going to be protested by Westboro Baptist Church. I saw some of the Patriot Guard Riders go by, it was just amazing

DH works with one of the riders. He travels everywhere for services, etc.

He was also the first co-worker to show up at the hospital to support DH when I was having my emergency surgery - a man of bravery and compassion!

He and his wife were getting ready to go out west for something this past week or so when they had an accident. They were both thrown from the bike. He had bruises and scrapes, but she has major shoulder and arm damage. Her kidneys started to fail, too. Things are beginning to look up thugh. She is in surgery sometime this week to repair the shoulder.
