I found this a little shocking....although I do not follow these kinds of things very well, I had no idea he was in the hospital.

That's so sad....he was only 50. He was a great father
and husband and incredibly talented!! He will definitely
be missed by his fans!

He was at a hospital close to us.The news reported a few days ago that he was getting better and would be heading home soon. This is so sad.

I was shocked by this, too. I never even heard he was hospitalized. I really liked him in his movies and the Bernie Mac show.

Gosh, that is so sad.

I loved "The Bernie Mac Show".

I knew he was in the hospital, but didn't expect this. I do wonder if his sarcoidosis did contribute in some way, even though they said he was in remission and it wasn't a factor.

very sad! He was talented and I've heard he was one of the "good men" in the buisness. He was great in the ocean's movies

Yes I loved the ocean's movies and guess who was pretty funny as well.
