I say "So What?" It was all a show, what does it matter how it was generated?

I think it's just wrong....what they showed on TV was not what was actually seen at the stadium. It wasn't that the fireworks were computer driven (which is common nowadays and makes for a great show, as it's all in the timing), but the fact that what was on TV was fake.

Love today's world. Even reality shows aren't real. I was recently looking at old footage of concerts from the 70s and early 80s before lipsynching came on so strong. So much better to have real talent.

But the Olympics are supposed to be about realism...that's why there's drug testing. However, now they let pros compete in things that were formerly for amateurs. It's all about the show.

I'm more concerned about them switching the little girl who was singing. The little singer w/ a great voice was not cute enough, so they put a cute child up there to lip sync.

That was just wrong.

Plus I don't care what the Chinese government says some of those girls on the gymnastics team are not 16. I could have a government issued passport that says I'm 21....and it would be a lie.
