When you vote for president, is their party affiliation important to you or is it not a factor is your decision?

I vote for their stand on the issues, and it just happens that it is always the same party. There is one issue that is most important for me, and it always ends up being the same party.
I really wish independants had more of a chance, but since they don't, I never vote for them. I am not wasting my vote.

I didn't vote b/c I need another choice on there, something like: I almost always vote for the party for president unless I don't like the candidates.

Normally party is not that important to me, but for President it is-I do tend to vote for one party b/c of some issues that are important to me tend to be with one party. But if I don't like them I won't vote for them.

I never vote party line - I choose whoever I think will do the best job.

Sometimes I have a hard time even finding a candidate I think is remotely aligned with a majority of my top issues.

I vote for the person, but their party affiliation is also important. It says a lot about a person. I would be hard pressed to vote Republican.
