This is crazy... When my oldest nephew was about 2, my sister heard a noise in their apt and went into the hallway where she saw a man stumbling around. Her bedroom, my nephew's bedroom, and the bathroom doors were all by each other. He mumbled something about needing to pee, stumbled into her bathroom, peed all over her wall and floor, ripped the towel rack off b/c of his clumsiness, and then went out the door. Apparently he was drunk and thought he was in his sister's apt, where he usually went to be obnoxious and destructive when he got hammered. I'd have peed myself!
People breaking into my home is a BIG fear of mine--possibly my biggest fear, which is fed by my fear of the dark. If I found someone in my daughter's bed, I'm afraid I'd bludgeon them if they were "asleep". If I found someone in my house and they were awake, I think I'd focus on getting OUT with my dd and dh. That's scary stuff, esp. if they look as nasty as THAT guy!
