It seems like once every 4 years,we as a mass, put on our political thinking caps and get involved...but ,the truth be told, it takes ALOT more than 1(or even 2)people to run the country.

So,my question is this...do you get involved in voting outside of the presidential run? Mayor? Congress? etc...

The person running for mayor in your town may be running for president somewhere down the line.....do you know if he's worth you helping to get him there

I vote for everything, even for the school board members, otherwise I don't feel I have the right to complain about anything!

I research the candidates and the issues and vote in every election.

I had to laugh at this one because some of the people who are mayors around here are definitely NOT going to end up on a presidential ticket. The mayor in the big city here (which I don't get to vote in because I live outside the city limits) looks and sounds like Minnie Pearl! Yeah, we really need that in the White House -- HOOOWWDYYY!

I vote in all of them.

I'm sure she's a very nice person, but as a mayor I think we need someone a little more professional in office, especially in a city this large.

I prefer the local elections -- I think my vote is more useful than the presidential elections.
