Missouri is a swing state, and is also known as a "bellwether" for presidential elections and other hot topics. It has chosen the "winner" of every presidential election since 1904 except for in 1956 (I think?) when they chose Stevenson over Eisenhower.

That said, I hope we go red this year

Maryland is always very solidly in the Democrats column.

We are all over the map. Red state Congress,Blue Governor, Red, Senator, Blue Senator(elected by something like a 2000 margin), Red and Blue representatives.

I'm hoping we go red this go around. The Dems have 4 votes they will have to make up because although we voted for Webb this time around we will vote McCain.

I have noticed that they have been either oversampling Democrats in the polls or there has been an affiliation change. I also know there are some investigations into fraud for voter registration here.

We are considered a swing state, however, I believe that the state is getting increasingly Democratic.
